GFS Badge Program
The badge program helps to develop the whole girl through study, friendship, and service activities which nurture the mind, body and spirit. A new member can enter the program at any level. The branch leader should help them determine the appropriate level at which they should begin.

Overview of the Blue Level
Important Christian women are the inspiration for the badges at this level. There are four lessons for each badge. Hands on activities, fun games and age-appropriate crafts with easy explanations are fun and for both the girls and the leader. Girls should be in this level during their kindergarten and first grade years.

GFS Vest Layout
Vests can either be made for each girl or purchased from the Supply Chairman of GFS/LA. Custom sizes can be arranged.
To make the vests, use white fabric for the vest and navy blue for the lining. Choose a comfortable weight, sturdy cotton that will wear well and resist wrinkles. The patterns for the vest come in three sizes: Small (girl size 8-10), Medium (girl size 14), and Large (women’s small). To print up the patterns, download and save to a Thumb Drive, Memory Stick or CD, then take the appropriate files to your local copy store and ask them to print out the patterns on large paper. Save these patterns for future use.
